Video Production Specialist

From concert and festival staging, to LED screen rentals, corporate events and video production, companies and organizations across the country have relied on Wired Production Group to meet their unique production needs for 20+ years.

 

In this role, you’ll perform a variety of technical duties involved in the planning, coordination and production of various projects to support our clients’ needs.

 

Essential functions include:

*Retrieve and review equipment and resource list for client event and then review/translate necessities with sales and client support team to ensure accuracy and thoroughness to meet customer expectations.

*Assemble, organize and inspect equipment prior to client event.

*Load and unload equipment into company trucks for transportation to and from customer or event location(s).

*Execute production plan onsite and effectively communicate with client and other coworkers to establish a professional collaboration.

*Install, adjust, and operate electronic equipment to record, edit, and transmit multimedia presentations and live events.

*Provide technical direction, face-to-face client assistance and attentiveness during event.

*Engage social media and multimedia technology throughout live events.

*Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

*Drive a company vehicle which may include a van or truck.

 

Qualifications:

*Minimum of two years in live events and/or video production.

*Above-average skills as a videographer – framing, shooting, composition, lighting techniques.

*Experience to coincide with large LED display setup, operation and maintenance.

*Software experience to include Qlab and Playback Pro.

*Knowledgeable computer skills including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

*Above-average skills using Google Docs and internet navigation.

*Ability to provide expertise in A/V needs based on event location and project scope.

*Valid Iowa Driver’s license required with acceptable driving record

*Able and available to work most nights and weekends.

*Ability to climb ladders and trailers, excessive walking, push/pull and lift to 50 pounds.

*Minimum of a high school degree or equivalent.

*Webcasting/video conference experience and jib operator experience are a plus.
