Making Live Sound a Success at Wired Production Group with Audio Engineer, Ian Miller
He’s cool. He’s hip. He’s Ian Miller! He’s one of our awesome audio engineers and he’s an extremely important part of our Wired Production Group crew.
Ian comes from the Quad Cities. He graduated in 2014 from Greenville University in Illinois with a degree in audio engineering studies. Before joining our event production team just over four years ago, he worked at his alma mater, and he also interned with Heritage Church in Rock Island, IL. He is incredibly dedicated to his profession and is focused on providing top-quality gear, talent and passion to every event and show he mixes.
Our audio production team takes their duty to provide the best audio experience for our clients’ very seriously. With Ian’s ear for sound, he makes it look easy! He has mixed sound for events all across the United States — with an emphasis in the Midwest — for artists including national acts like Puddle of Mudd, Loretta Lynn, Brett Young and local favorites, like the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra and The Pork Tornadoes. He puts just as much effort into a four hour corporate meeting as he does into a four day outdoor music festival. He focuses on making our clients sound really impressive.
When Ian’s not in the warehouse or on a gig, he’s on an adventure! He may be close to home playing ultimate frisbee with friends or maybe recording his own musical projects. He could also be out traveling across America, visiting family or cruising on his Kawasaki Ninja 650. He hardly ever takes a real day off, and we love hearing about his wild rides. We live vicariously through him some days. He keeps us young!
Ian recently said, “Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to have a job that I actually love to do.” And we’re lucky to have you on our crew, Ian! Thanks for all you do.
