2021 started much like 2020 ended…with all of us struggling to navigate our way through the pandemic. A lot has happened over the last 12 months. For example, we have rebuilt our facility from the ground up after it was destroyed by the derecho in August 2020. After 10 long months, we moved into our amazing new home fully equipped with all new furnishings and technology. We have been busy rebuilding our equipment inventory that was damaged and destroyed with the latest and greatest technology – although supply chain issues have hampered delivery of many things. Patience is a virtue they say!

Along with managing a major construction project through the first part of 2021, we spent countless hours strategizing with clients to help them continue their regularly scheduled events virtually. We were able to live stream from our temporary office and studio. We were focused on creating strong messaging and beautiful event designs for conferences, awards programs, and employee communications. Our video department spent so much time focused on creating impactful videos in extremely creative ways when travel and on-site production was limited.

In June, it felt like the light switched on overnight. The outdoor entertainment directors and sporting event producers we work with led the way back to life as we once knew it. Fairs, festivals, and concerts filled the calendar for the summer months with outdoor sports and some corporate events padding the gaps. We were crazy busy – and we were 100% okay with that!

As we settled into our new home in the second half of 2021, we were fortunate to be able to bring back many staff members – and we even added some new ones to the team. I am so grateful to our staff for sticking with us through these most unprecedented times (everyone loves that phrase nowadays, right?) and believing we can make it and come out on the other end stronger and more creative. We are constantly working on building a strong company with a culture that can not only survive, but thrive. We are a family first and always, and we want each other to succeed in all things personally and professionally.

To our customers, I say thank you for believing in us and trusting us with your projects. We appreciate you working with us. We love to help you navigate through your video projects, live events, virtual events, hybrid events, and whatever else you could possibly need from our team. We are constantly looking for new solutions to help you communicate, entertain, and engage with your audiences. We are so proud to have you as part of our Wired family.

When we look forward to 2022, we see many opportunities for growth and prosperity for Wired Production Group. Corporations, colleges, and universities are looking to go back to live and hybrid events. Fairs, festivals and outdoor concerts organizers are looking to continue and expand their events. If we thought 2021 was exciting, I guarantee you that 2022 will knock our socks off!

Like any year, this year has been filled with challenges and opportunities…they’re just a bit more unique this time around. We will continue to get up every single day, take on any challenge that comes our way, and stay focused on creating the events and video projects that our staff and our clients are proud of. There is not a day that goes by that I am not humbled and thankful for the support of my amazing staff and each of the awesome customers we have along with our families and friends. I believe we have created something very special with Wired Production Group, and I am proud to lead this group of talented people into the future. Thank you all for your trust and support.

Sincerely,

Ron Rausch
