A Message from Ron Rausch
It’s hard to believe that another year is coming to a close here at Wired Production Group. I’ve been doing this job as CEO for 22 years. What an adventure! We have had many ups and downs, and 2022 will close as our best year to date. We have been settling into our new, rebuilt space for a little over a year now. We have finally replaced all of the destroyed equipment from the derecho this year. This includes many new toys and technologies that will serve us and our clients well into the future.
There are a few things I’d like to highlight about 2022. First, we added some talented new faces to our work family. Our staffing levels are where we need to continue to execute amazing events for our customers. Secondly, this year has taken us from coast-to-coast with concert tours, university campaign launches, corporate conferences, video projects, trade shows, fairs, and festivals. Somehow around all the travel, I found time to be our social media manager for a month…that really put me out of my element! Finally, in November, Wired Production Group was recognized by the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance as a BRAVO Award winner, an honor we humbly accept and hope to hold up to the standards in our community.
To Our Staff and Families
As we look forward to 2023, I want to thank my dedicated and talented staff here at Wired. They are truly what makes this a great place to work and explore what’s possible. The ideas, creativity, and execution of every event and video production is truly amazing to see. It is often that I am reminded by clients just how great this group of humans really is, and, for that, I want to take this time as I often do to thank all of them.
I also want to thank my employees’ families for the support and sacrifices they make on a regular basis for their loved ones being away from home and shouldering the work at home while they are away pursuing their careers. I want to personally thank my family. Without the support and love of Molly and my seven kiddos, I would not be able to do what we do every day.
To Our Customers
Thank you for your trust in us, especially when we come up with some crazy idea and you go with it. Thank you for the opportunities to build long term relationships, many of which have lasted decades. Thank you for allowing us to be partners in all of your events and video adventures.
To Our Community
Cedar Rapids, we have to thank you for making our area such an awesome place to come home to. Eastern Iowa has many good things to offer. It is great to see how our employees engage with the community through supporting our local nonprofits and attending local events year-round. With this time of year being filled with holiday cheer and our crew being able to work closely with Toys for Tots, we are so filled with joy. Our employees are staying connected with friends and family to support the community efforts as we wrap up the year to continue making this a great place to live, work, and play.
In 2023, I look forward to the next chapter in the story of Wired Production Group. Happy Holidays! Cheers to a prosperous new year.
