City of Cedar Rapids Rebuilds After Destructive Derecho in the Midwest
On Monday, August 10th, our world was rocked once again. Along with hundreds of thousands of others in our community, we were hit by the derecho – a windstorm producing 100+ mph winds and heavy rains. We are thankful that no one in our Wired family was hurt. Unfortunately, our office and warehouse was not so lucky.
While we are in the process of re-building our warehouse and office space, we will be working at a temporary location in the Shores building near Downtown Cedar Rapids. We are still fully operational and happy to be able to serve our customers, both current and future – virtually or in-person. #WeAreWired and we will not let Mother Nature take us down. Or a pandemic. Or whatever else 2020 throws our way!
If we can assist you, your business, or your organization with your upcoming live event, virtual event, hybrid event, or video production, please reach out to us at info@wiredproductiongroup.com. We can’t stop, and we won’t stop. We are strong. We are Wired. We appreciate your continued business.
Thank You To Our Supporters
During this crazy time, we have appreciated the support of our friends, families, clients, and vendors. We would like to especially thank Ron’s wife and our #1 cheerleader, Molly, along with the Rausch kids for delivering us lunch as we worked to empty and demolish our building. Shout out to our incredible staff for coming together to empty, inventory, and tear down our building in less than two weeks!
We also enjoyed special lunch deliveries from clients and even our local Wendy’s store. It’s truly the little things – and we all know the way to our staff’s heart is food.
Thank you to The Gazette for sharing our story and to our insurance company for utilizing top-notch technology to move our claim process along.
